Future Ready Reuse Workshop - Renmark
Description
Future Ready Reuse Workshop - Renmark
The Future Ready Reuse Workshop has been designed to help South Australian councils build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to safely and effectively manage Community Wastewater Management Systems (CWMS) and recycled water schemes.
Funded through the Local Government Association's Community Wastewater Innovation Fund (CWIF), this free one-day workshop combines practical presentations, interactive discussions and hands-on activities to explore the key principles of recycled water management.
Rather than simply presenting information, participants will be encouraged to ask questions, share experiences and apply the concepts to real-world council wastewater and recycled water schemes throughout the day.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Explain how health risks are managed using the multiple barrier approach.
Interpret operational and verification monitoring to assess scheme performance.
Identify practical actions to improve the safety, compliance and future readiness of their own CWMS.
