Futures Forum: Charting a new future for rangatahi in Tāmaki

Join us for a rangatahi led forum on their future from 6pm at our Community Office, 45 Mayfair Place.

Join Max and leaders from across the wider youth space for a panel on the future for rangatahi in our community. With record high youth unemployment, an exodus of talented young people to Australia and material hardship for children increasing drastically under this government, we know that young people need a government that actually reflects their needs and aspirations.

We will talk about how strong local representation and a new government can chart out a future for young people that is inclusive, empowering and builds them up to be full participants in all aspects of life. We'll especially reflect on the need for short term relief in the face of a crushing cost of living crisis, coupled with a long term view on how ambitious we can be about our futures if we build a new kind of politics.

There will be kai, korero and an opportunity to ask constructive questions about the future

We can't wait to see you!
