Season 5 kicks off with our Halloween Sunset Boat Party — the start of a huge summer of FVDED sunset events in Perth.
We’re bringing Ibiza-inspired sunset energy to the Swan River — golden hour, house music, cocktails, your crew and the Perth city skyline as the backdrop.
Taking over The Decoy Paddle Steamer for four hours on the water, expect some of Perth’s best local DJs taking you from golden hour into sunset and beyond.

Go scary, spooky, outrageous, glam or full Halloween mode — fancy dress is encouraged, not compulsory.

Ticket prices increase through each release, so the earlier you get your crew organised, the cheaper you’ll get onboard.

- Where does the boat depart from?
The Decoy departs from Mends Street Jetty, South Perth.
- What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 30 minutes early and allow plenty of time for check-in and boarding. The boat cannot wait for late arrivals.
- What time is the event?
5PM–9PM.
- Is this an 18+ event?
Yes. This is strictly an 18+ event and valid photo ID is required when boarding.
- Is Halloween fancy dress required?
Fancy dress is encouraged, but completely optional — it’s our annual FVDED Halloween Boat Party, so dress up if you’re feeling it, or just come as you are. 🎃
- Can I bring my own alcohol or food?
No. Strictly no BYO alcohol, drinks or food is permitted on board.
- Is there a bar on the boat?
Yes. The Decoy has a fully licensed bar on board serving a range of premium drinks and cocktails throughout the cruise. 🍸
- What music will be played?
House music from some of Perth’s best DJs, taking us from golden hour into the night. 🎶
- What happens if I arrive late?
Once The Decoy has departed the jetty, we cannot accommodate late arrivals. Please arrive early to avoid missing the boat.
- What happens if the weather is bad?
The event will proceed in normal weather conditions. If conditions affect the safe operation of the cruise, ticket holders will be contacted with further information.
- Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?
Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind or if you can no longer attend. Please ensure you can attend before purchasing.
- Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes, if you can no longer attend, your ticket can be transferred to another person before the event, subject to Humanitix ticket transfer requirements.
