FWD+ORGANISE 2027

FWD+ORGANISE is the space our movements get stronger.

It’s where digital, organising, campaigning and communications practitioners come together, share practical skills and lessons, and learn cutting-edge tools and approaches to win change.

FWD+Organise is for the do-ers of social change: from grassroots movements, unions, non-profits of all sizes, service delivery charities, for-purpose business, local government and more. It’s for those of us working for a fairer, more equal future.

What to Expect

TRAININGS
Choose from 30+ practical sessions, ranging from beginner to advanced. Covering online organising, media and communications, building active volunteer networks and more.

CASESTUDIES
Learn hard-won lessons from the people who’ve done the work on winning campaigns, across the continent and from overseas.

NETWORKING
We do this work together, so make new friends, connect with old ones, and build the relationships that’ll help win change together.

(Plus, there’s a party.)

STRATEGY
Dedicated time to apply what you’ve learnt, and start making plans with other campaigners, organisers and communicators in the room.

Accessibility

In-person components of FWD+ORGANISE 2027 will take place in Gadigal (Sydney) - see our access key here, including information on:

• Auslan interpretation and live captioning

• Physical access to venues (inc wheelchair access)

• How we are making presentation materials accessible

• Actions for everyone to make sessions inclusive and accessible

• Companion cards

We will also publish a seperate access guide for online participants closer to the event with details about navigating the online platform.

• In-Person or online: choose which is right for you.

  • Both ticket types include access to plenaries, and pre-event caucuses.

  • In-person tickets include access to all in-person breakouts (typically 4-5 concurrent streams) on May 4 and 5, plus catering during the day and all social events.

  • Online tickets include access to all online breakouts (typically 1-2 concurrent streams) on May 4 and 5, plus attendance at evening social events for anyone in Sydney (RSVP required).

• Coming as part of an organisation or workplace? Tickets are tiered based on the type and size of organisation.

  • Work for a non-profit...

    • ...with under $500,000 in annual revenue? Small NFP ticket!

    • ...with between $500,000 and $3 million in annual revenue? Medium NFP ticket!

    • ...with over $3 million in annual revenue? Large NFP ticket!

  • Work for part of a B-Corp, social enterprise, or philanthropic organisation that works with non-profits and social change organisations? Grab the B-Corps | Social Enterprise | Councils ticket.

  • Work for local government? Grab the B-Corps | Social Enterprise | Councils ticket.

  • Work for state or federal government? Part of a local member's office or political party? Grab the For Profit | Government | Political Parties ticket.

  • Work for a for-profit business? Grab the For Profit | Government | Political Parties ticket.

• Coming as an individual?

  • If you support social change work as a sole trader / freelancer, etc: Grab the Individuals / Freelancer ticket (same price as Small NFP)!

  • Grassroots advocates (who are unpaid for your campaigning and organising work): Grab an Individuals / Freelancer ticket if you can, or apply for a scholarship.

• Coming with friends/team members?

  • 3+ people: 10% discount automatically applied.

  • 5+ people: 20% discount automatically applied.

  • Note: group discounts do not apply for scholarship tickets.
