Join this event to find out practical ways of finding and engaging with the right people within buying organisations.

Our friends at SAP will be sharing practical tips and insights on:

  • Who to talk to
    • Who is the right person for you to talk to within large buying organisations?
    • Where can you find useful information?
  • How to approach buyers
    • What are their priorities and drivers?
    • What are the challenges they face, and how can you make it easy for them to buy from you?
  • How to talk to them

There will be plenty of time for Q&A so bring along all those questions you've always wanted to ask!

About the speakers:

Tristan Haberley manages Catalog Services, Functional Deployment and Network Services at SAP Ariba. Tristan is a firm believer in the role of procurement and purpose-driven spending for making the world a better place. He has held procurement and consulting roles - from start-ups leveraging technology to accelerate the sustainability agenda, through to industry leaders. By providing end users with insights to consciously inform the choices that sit behind every transaction, he believes purpose-driven spending has the potential to accelerate positive social impact at scale. Currently he supports the delivery and enablement of catalog solutions for SAP customers across APJ & GC, along with the growth of the “Rise” initiative (a diversity initiative for purpose-driven spending).

Gordon Donovan has over 30 years direct procurement experience leading procurement transformations and establishing and improving procurement functions. His role at SAP as APJ Intelligent Spend Evangelist aims to infuse procurement and finance thought leadership to SAP's intelligent spend management messaging both internally and externally. Gordon has designed and implemented a range of assessment regimes to understand the current and future capability requirements for procurement teams and has also carried out numerous assessments of organisations policies, processes and people in his role as a CIPS certification assessor.
