GAAD: Accessibility Innovation Jam
Event description
How might inclusive design support retention and success among our community?
In acknowledgement of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (15 May), RMIT invites staff and students to come together for an innovation jam to ideate how and where, across our broad and diverse organisation, opportunities exist for universal design.
Hear from individuals with lived experience of disability and others leading the way in designing universal and inclusive experiences, facilities and resources, about the importance of levelling the field so all members of our community can participate fully.
Think about your own experiences and the role you hold within the RMIT community, whether student or staff, and what role you can play.
Contribute ideas and respond to provocations designed to inform the University’s equity and inclusion action plans.
Morning tea will be provided.
