Litha with Gaia's Garden
Event description
Light reaches Her fullness, and yet ...
She turns, and the seed of Darkness is born.
Join us to celebrate Summer Solstice, or Litha – the longest day of the year. At this time of high light we will highlight who we are, what we have achieved in this passing year and where the light guides our next endeavours.
We come to build energy for harmony in our lives and across the world as we work for the return of harmony to our Mother the Earth.
We will also acknowledge the work of the Goddess Studies students at the Gaia Temple, in completing this year of studies.
Litha is Kangaroo Apple Season in south-eastern Australia, when goannas are active, Bundjil the wedge-tailed eagle is breading and the Cherry Ballart and Kangaroo Apple are fruiting. The weather is changeable and thundery.
