Galaxy Re-Watch Party + Crowdfund Launch
Description
We are launching our Crowdfunding Campaign at this re-watch party!! The funding will be used for the next Galaxy Game Festival events as well as any future game community event our team might run. This will help us rent equipment, venue hire, team uniforms and catering for staff, volunteers, speakers, exhibitioners. Basically, used for anything event related expenses.
Last year we had such an amazing line up of speakers and we wanted to give people the opportunity to come and watch the talks again. This re-watch party is to spotlight that we have posted all the videos onto our YouTube Channel as an archive. To celebrate the release of the recordings we are hosting this online event to watch these amazing speakers' talks together and hang out with the community.
Here is a sneak peek on the lineup on what talks we will be watching during the event.
Crowd Funding Campaign
Help our team fundraise some funds to use towards any future Galaxy Games Festival and other game community events run by our team. The Campaign will be live at 12PM AEST 4th July 2026. During the online stream while watching last year's talk recordings the link to the fundraising campaign will be provided to the attendees.
Tiers
The funding will help our team with event related expenses. Here are the tiers and milestones for the campaign.
Goal Tiers:
$600: Monitor Hire
$800: Morning Tea for staff, volunteers, speakers + Previous Tiers
$900: Morning Tea for exhibitioners + Previous Tiers
$1000+: Better Streaming Equipment Hire + Previous Tiers
Stretch Goal:
$2000: Lunch catering for staff, volunteers, speakers and exhibitioners, + Previous Tiers NOT Attendees...
$2600: Volunteers’ uniforms + Previous Tiers
$3000+: Attendees lunch catering + Previous Tiers
$$$ Extra: Other event related expenses such as tags, printing, future events, etc. + Previous Tiers

- Do I need to pay for a ticket?
No this is a free event.
- Can I still attend if I don't have a ticket?
Yes, you can still attend. Getting a ticket allows us to send you the links directly to your contact email though you can still find the stream link on our social media when we release them. Keep an eye out on our https://linktr.ee/LiquidCatStudio for when we post the live stream link.
- I am not a game developer can I still attend?
Yes, you can still attend. This is suitable for anyone interested, not just game developers.
- Where is the event located?
The event is hosted online. We will be sending out the link to the live stream and discord server invites for ticket holders closer to the date of the event.
- Can I watch the talks outside this re-watch event?
