Gallery Demonstration and Cellulose Harvesting with Maru García

Artist and alchemist Maru García leads a presentation about her site-specific installation composed of a live SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast). García will also demonstrate how living cultures are sustained, grown, and how bacterial cellulose is harvested.
