🎀 It’s GALORE ‘24 🎀
This very demure theme is a moreish mash up of roaring art deco burlesque & cabaret with lashings of KINK and a generous squirt of CAMP ⛲️⛺️💅🏽 Relish in the queer communion that is Tropical Fruits New Years - on Widjabul Wia-bal Jagun.
Galore is a festival for up to 2000 people, consisting of 4 dance parties across the 30th (Camp party), 31st (NYE party) & the 1st (Pool party) and finally the Recovery party. +++ The legendary NYE Cabaret and the wonky NYD ‘Next Day Cabaret’. +++ Arts & Culture program with workshops, activities & offerings happening from the 28th. Camping is available from the 28th-4th for up to 1000 people.
Here’s what’s in store:
🧘♀️ ARTS & CULTURE - kicks off on the afternoon of the 28th following an Acknowledgment of Country, and continues with offerings each day. Day passes to the campsite can be purchased at Camp Check In for non-campers to partake in workshops & activities. Do you have something to share? Check out the form below.
💅 CAMP PARTY (for campers only) - December 30th - 4pm-10pm
A welcome warm up for those camping on site! DJ's, performances, activities & frivolity to the maxxx - with special appearances by some Fruity favourites.
🔥 NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY - December 31st - 8pm-6am
A smorgasbord of sensations: top-shelf dance music with state of the art sound & lighting design across 2 main stages (Arena main stage & Trade alternative dance space), the main bar and live music in the Nest plus the Sensorium chill zone. Revel in the guts and glamour of our beloved cabaret, explore the art gallery and ring in the New Year with our iconic fireworks. Experience the fine culmination of our community efforts in a night of maximum joy & celebration of another twirl around the sun.
👙 POOL PARTY - January 1st - 10am-4pm
Wash away the sins of the night and lounge in the sun on New Years Day. 1000 queers in a pool... What could go wrong?! 💦 Note: Pool Party is for the truly committed, these tickets are only available in the 3 party package. Stay tuned for a very exciting announcement regarding an iconic party who will be running the Pool Party this year!! 💦
🤡 RECOVERY PARTY - January 1 - 4pm-2am
The party site reopens for one final afternoon and evening to let it all really soak in. Catch the crooked delights of our Next Day Cabaret + dance deep into the night with one music across the whole party site.

There are limited powered spots available, however small device charging is complementary via the Trop Fruits Camp Hub. Prebook a powered site here on Humanitix - as they will sell out .

🚌 SLUTTLE BUS 🚌
If you're looking to stay by the coast or in the beautiful surrounding hinterland, we'll be running buses to get the party people to and from our events safely. Bus tickets can be purchased alongside your party tickets through the ticketing system. Reserve your spot as seats are limited.
There will also be a separate Lismore/Goonellabah town loop - no pre-booking required.

Ballina - Tamar St Coach Stop
Alstonville - Main St Bus Stop
Goonellabah Bus Stop - Rochdale Theatre

Please let us know your access needs in the checkout questions. The camp site and party site are wheelchair accessible, and there are dedicated accessible toilet/shower facilities on-site. Some powered sites are reserved for people who use medical devices, please let us know so we can guide you to the right spot. We need your skills, laughter and friends to put on parties and keep the flavour truly ours. Your support, energy and enthusiasm are what makes this event so special. Whether you like creating colour schemes or working up a sweat with power tools, we have the job for you! Fruits parties are the place to meet other queer people. You get to create a beautiful party space... and then enjoy it yourself.
(We don't work you that hard, unless you like that kinda thing.)
