Event description

Join us for a festive and fabulous feminine Christmas Brunch!

An opportunity to raise funds for those living with chronic illness, make new connections and joyfully kick off the festive season!

Galsmas is an unapologetically feminine Christmas brunch to celebrate the important women and non-binary people in our lives, and raise funds for those living with chronic illness. Join your hosts Jessica Rachel and Adelae Bowen and enjoy delicious food, a silent auction, guest speakers and plenty of time to connect.

This year we will be raising money and awareness for our charity partner Fight Parkinson’s, a Victorian organisation that supports people living with Parkinson’s and Atypical Parkinson's (MSA, PSP and CBS). If you would like to support their vital work, please make a tax-deductible donation through our Fundraising page https://fundraise.fightparkins...
(Please note that donations are not considered a ticket. If you would like to join us on the day, you will need to purchase a ticket through the button on the right.)

We would love to see you there!

Fight Parkinson's

Fight Parkinson’s is Victoria’s leading support organisation for people living with Parkinson’s, including Young Onset Parkinson’s, and Atypical Parkinson's (MSA, PSP and CBS).

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects people from all walks of life. It’s estimated that 219,000 Australians live with Parkinson’s. It is characterised as a movement disorder, but a person living with Parkinson’s can also experience pain, depression, and issues with memory and sleep. There is currently no known cure.

Fight Parkinson's provides education programs, resources and peer support networks, and is committed to raising funds to advance research that will deliver effective therapies, treatments, and a cure. The organisation empowers the Parkinson’s community to live full and active lives until a cure is found.

Please give generously to support this vital work.

The not so fine print
Ticket sales cover our operational costs so are not a donation to Fight Parkinson's and are unfortunately not tax-deductible at this stage. Ticket costs have been kept as low as possible to keep the event accessible, and to encourage guests to consider making a donation to our charity partner. Operational costs include food, drink, promotional materials and anything else required to bring the event to life! Operational costs do not include payment for ourselves or anyone on our team (including creators, volunteers and guest speakers). Everyone involved is donating their time in support of the event.

We’d love all guests to consider making a donation to support the incredible work of Fight Parkinson’s! This can be done directly through our Fundraising page or by getting involved in our Silent Auction on the day.

Fight Parkinson's is a Deductible Gift Recipient so all donations over $2 that are made through our Fundraising page are tax deductible. You will be issued a receipt from the organisation directly.
