Join us for an open jam, game night, and snack-sharing session all in one. This is a relaxed, all-ages community hangout where everyone’s welcome to join in the fun.

Bring your instrument and jump in for an acoustic jam session led by guzheng artist QiQi. Play along, share a song, or just vibe out. All styles and skill levels welcome — unplugged encouraged!

🎲 Games from Across Asia
Bring a game from your heritage or childhood and teach it to others! We'll have a few to kick things off — think Mahjong, Fish-Prawns-Crabs, cards and more.

🍱 BYO Snacks (and Appetite!)
Pack your favourite Asian snacks to share, swap or stash (we get it). And yes, we’ll have some delicious donuts from our friends at @joeysdoughies to sweeten the deal 🍩

QiQi Music is a Naarm/Melbourne-based initiative led by guzheng artist and composer QiQi, dedicated to creating spaces for connection, creativity, and cross-cultural expression through music. Blending traditional Chinese instruments with contemporary and improvisational styles, QiQi Music invites audiences to experience culture in ways that are immersive, joyful, and accessible.

Through performances, workshops, and community events, QiQi Music celebrates heritage while championing experimentation — encouraging audiences to listen deeply, participate playfully, and build community through shared experience. Games, Guzheng & Goodies is a ticketed event with strictly limited capacity. All attendees must reserve a ticket via Humanitix to gain entry — unfortunately, walk-ins will not be admitted if capacity has been reached.

Please note: This event takes place in a basement venue with no wheelchair or step-free access. It is not suitable for guests using wheelchairs, crutches, or anyone with difficulty navigating stairs. We sincerely apologise for this limitation and appreciate your understanding.

This is an all-ages gathering designed to be welcoming, low-pressure, and community-driven. No musical or gaming experience needed — just bring a spirit of play and participation.
