Soil • Importance of healthy soil. • Soil types: clay, sandy, loamy. • Improve soil with compost, mulch, organic matter. 

Seeds • Choose organic, non-GMO seeds. • Best beginner veggies/herbs. • Tips for seed storage and reading packets. Seeds needing direct sow.

Seedlings • Seedlings vs. seeds. • Proper transplanting techniques. • Hardening off seedlings. 

Sun • Sunlight needs for plants. • Position garden for max sun exposure.

Planting & Spacing • Proper planting depth. • Importance of spacing for healthy growth.
