🌿 Garden Tool Sharpening Pop‑Up - Maranoa Botanic Gardens

Give your garden tools a refresh by having your tools professionally sharpened while you enjoy a relaxed day at the gardens.

How to book

1. Book your spot
   Select an available 10‑minute time slot between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm. Maximum of two items per family for each booking, to ensure fair access.

2. Prepare your gardening tool: This service is suitable for manual gardening tools only, including secateurs, loppers, hedge shears, shovels, trowels and hoes.
   Please note: Electrical tools, axes and saws cannot be accepted.

3. On the day
   Please arrive at your booked time and drop off your tool for sharpening.

   It is recommended that you bring your garden tools in a bag or box for safety during transit.
   While you wait, you’re welcome to:

   • Explore Maranoa Botanic Gardens

   • Enjoy a coffee from the on‑site food cart

   • Take part in other activities scheduled as part of Maranoa Botanic Gardens 100th Birthday Celebration

• Bookings are required.

• You must be a City of Boroondara resident to book.

• If all time slots are filled, please register for the waitlist, we’ll contact you if a spot becomes available.
