Event description

Join me and a small group of women for an empowering afternoon of garden tools! Learn how to bring those dull, rusty secateurs back to life in a few safe, simple steps. We will also look at loppers, hedgers, chain saws, axes and spades. Once everything is looking shiny and sharp, we will put them to use in the garden. I will advise on what tools can and can’t be sharpened, what files to use and how to keep your tools feeling loved after every use. You will walk away with the confidence to safely and expertly sharpen all of your garden tools. Perfect workshop for beginner or experienced gardeners. Women ages 16+ welcome, under 18 accompanied by an adult.

All materials provided. You will have the opportunity to purchase files on the day. Bring a tool you’d like to sharpen as well as appropriate gardening clothes, shoes and a water bottle.

Located at the gorgeous Fairhill Nursery in Ninderry. Tea and coffee provided and the opportunity to purchase food from their amazing cafe.

Please note we will use a pole chain saw. A regular chain saw requires it's own training.
