Backyard Garden Tour – Spring Beginnings
Step into spring with a friendly wander through a handful of local backyard gardens on Saturday 6th September. At this time of year there may not be much in bloom, but that’s part of the fun — you’ll get to see how others set up their garden layouts, hear what they’re planning for the season ahead, and swap tips on what’s happening in gardens right now.

This is a chance to connect with fellow gardeners, gather fresh ideas, and be inspired before the growing really takes off.

• Free event – limited to 20 people (registration required)

• Please bring a plate to share for afternoon tea, a water bottle, and your own mug or reusable cup.

Come along for a relaxed afternoon of conversation, community, and spring garden inspiration.

The event is for those who meet regularly at the Ashburton Library for our 'Garden Conversation Hour' and Mid Canterbury TimeBank members.
