Description

Gardening for Days and QHub are running a series of aquatic terrarium making workshops!

In these workshops, participants will create a closed water terrarium across 4 sessions. You can attend all workshops and create your own terrarium to take home, or attend some of the workshops and contribute to the collective QHub terrarium.

Once the closed terrariums are set up, they are left to develop in their own mini ecosystem. Over time, terrariums may develop little critters such as water bugs, snails and brine shrimp - often with their eggs catching a ride on whatever plants have been added to the tank. Participants will also have the opportunity to add brine shrimp eggs if they wish.

  • Session 1: Wednesday 21st October 5.15-7pm

  • Session 2: Wednesday 4th November 5.15-7pm

  • Session 3: Wednesday 2nd December 5.15-7pm

  • Session 4: Wednesday 16th December 5.15-7pm

There will be a separate humanitix link to each workshop, so please sign up each time :)

This session is for any queer or questioning people aged between 18-25 wanting to engage in QHub programs and activities.

5.15-5.30pm will be transition time for people to arrive and settle in without the expectation of needing to be super social right away, There will be drawing materials, soft music in the background and beanbags on the floor. We'll aim to start at 5.30pm.

Please let us know any dietary requirements as there will be some food/snacks available.
