In this hands on workshop you will learn how to maximise your small space to create an abundant oasis of food, herbs and ornamentals.
Trainer Bio
Lucy Derum is a horticulturist with over 20 years’ experience in the industry; including retail nursery, community gardens, local Council and as a Horticultural consultant.
Lucy has worked across a broad and diverse range of specialist areas, such as Therapeutic Horticulture, Urban Agriculture and more recently in Food Security.
Having grown up in Melbourne’s inner north, Lucy is well versed in the joys and challenges of small space gardening and currently grows an array of food plants, herbs, native plants, and trees on her balcony and in her small front garden in Thornbury.
Lucy is passionate about sharing her knowledge, skill, and expertise to support communities to grow and enjoy their gardens.
