Event description

A Planthunter x Terremoto Online Event

Join landscape architects David Godshall and Story Wiggins from Terremoto (Los Angeles/San Francisco) in conversation with Wonderground/Planthunter editor Georgina Reid to celebrate the launch of Wonderground Issue Two, a Planthunter print publication.

The conversation will explore Terremoto's newest direction, Radical Gardens of Love and Interconnectedness (RGLI), as featured in the second issue of Wonderground. RGLI is a constantly evolving set of principles for designing gardens that are fair, just and giving in their relationship to labor, ecology and materials.

It is quite possible that this conversation will change the way you see the garden, and the act of garden-making. Because gardens are not only adornment or decoration but a framework for creating cities/cultures/worlds that are ecologically and culturally connected, regenerative and generous. This conversation will draw connections between the work of landscape architects, designers, and gardeners and the biggest challenge of our time - the climate and ecological crises. Gardeners, unite!

100% of event proceeds will be donated to Groundswell Giving, a giving circle created in response to the climate crisis, accelerating climate action by funding high-impact climate advocacy in Australia.

The event will be recorded, and a link to view the conversation will be available to all registrants for two weeks post event.
