Event description

Biochar can help your garden, especially if you have heavy clay or very

sandy soil.  Biochar acts as a permanent form of compost in the soil--it

holds onto water and nutrients and improves soil structure BUT it needs

to be properly prepared.  This demonstration workshop explains what

biochar is, how to use it, the benefits it has for your garden and

the planet.
