Garnering Insights from Migrant Women
Description
En Route to CSW71: Garnering Insights from Migrant Women
Join Settlement Services International (SSI) and the Settlement Council of Australia (SCOA) for an online consultation exploring the intersections of poverty, economic empowerment, migration and climate change, and how these issues impact migrant and refugee women. This session will bring together sector workers, advocates, researchers and community leaders to share insights, challenges and opportunities for advancing gender equality and economic inclusion.
The discussion will help inform advocacy and engagement leading into the 71st Commission on the Status of Women (CSW71), ensuring the voices and experiences of migrant and refugee women are represented in national and global conversations.
