This concert will honor the 100th anniversary of the birth of legendary Brazilian master, Antônio Carlos Jobim, celebrated globally as the primary architect of Bossa Nova and a towering figure in Música Popular Brasileira (MPB). Born in Rio de Janeiro in January 1927, his sophisticated blend of samba, choro, jazz harmony, and impressionist classical music reshaped global popular music.
