Gathering for Grief
Join Palliative Care Tasmania for an afternoon of connection, creativity, and community at Gathering for Grief, a special event dedicated to honoring the many ways we experience and express grief. This inclusive gathering welcomes everyone—individuals, families, and service providers—into a space of compassion and shared understanding.

From 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, immerse yourself in an environment where art and music become pathways for healing and reflection. Explore creative expressions that speak to the heart, engage in meaningful conversations, and find comfort in the presence of others who understand the depth and complexity of loss.

A hearty lunch will be served by Sunlight Kitchen from 12 - 1.30pm

At 2:30 PM, we will hold the formal proceedings of the day and are proud to launch This Is Grief, a powerful new Tasmanian companionship resource. This moment will be an opportunity to celebrate stories that remind us we are never alone in our grief.

Whether you are seeking solace, offering support, or simply curious about the ways grief shapes our lives, this event is for you. Together, we will create a space where pain can coexist with hope, and where community becomes a source of strength.
