Quiz Night at Gawler & Barossa Jockey Club
Get ready for a night packed with energy, laughter, and friendly competition as the Gawler Gymnastics Club hosts a Quiz Night Fundraiser. All in aid of supporting our gymnasts and coaches travelling overseas to represent the club and Australia in Portugal.
Included in the night:
Trivia questions - Test your knowledge across a range of categories and topics.
Silent Auction - Bid on Fantastic items and experiences donated by businesses and families.
Fun Games - Quick and Quirky - good for a laugh and bit of guess work!
Community Spirit - Celebrate and support our club who are currently in training for this international opportunity.
Whether you're a trivia buff or just want a night out, this event promises a warm, upbeat atmosphere and plenty of chances to join in the fun.
All proceeds to go directly to supporting our gymnasts to get to Portugal and represent Australia!

- Can I bring my own food?
Yes - you can bring snacks - The Jockey club also have hot food available to purchase on the night or pre-order with your ticket.
Food will be brought to your table.
- Can I bring my own drinks?
Bar sales only - no BYO.
- What time can I arrive?
Doors will open at 5:30pm,
Silent Auction starts 5;30pm
Additional Food can be purchased from 6pm.
First Question at 6:30pm
- What time will the event finish?
We are aiming to be completed by 10pm

- What facilities are available?
Free Parking, Accessibility toilet, Bar facilities, hot and cold food for purchase, silent auction

- When can I purchase hot food.
Hot food can be pre-ordered before the event with your ticket.
During the event hot food can be ordered between 6-6:30pm, during the first break 7-7:15pm and finally the second break 7:35-7:55.
Drinks and cold food can be purchased at any time during the event.
- Does the event cater for disabilities such as access for wheelchairs, people who have hearing or visual impairment or who do not speak English as their first language?
Yes. Gawler Gymanstics is an inclusive community organisation.
We are happy to accommodate a variety of needs. If you have any requirements prior to the event, please contact us in advance. We will do our best to assist and make any necessary arrangements to ensure you have an enjoyable experience. *Quiz will be conducted in English and questions shown in English (alternative languages will require own interpreter.)

- What age is this quiz night for?
This is a fun night for all ages, however the quiz questions will be tailored towards adults and older children.
Note: There is no creche. Any children participating must have a ticket and a spot at a table.

Answers given once all sheets handed up to counting desk. 06:50 PM - 07:00 PM Heads and Table Game Choose either two heads, two tails or one of each. The Clinker will determine what the result is, get it right to keep playing, get it wrong and sit back down. Cost $2 to play. Purchase tokens from the Money desk to be involved. 07:00 PM - 07:15 PM BREAK Have a break, grab a drink from the bar, check out the silent Auction items, go to the toilets, sit and chat with your table mates.
