FAQs
Is there an age range?
There's no age policy but to give you a guide our demographic is usually people in their 20s and 30s, with most attendees sitting between 25 and 35.
Will I date everyone?
Not usually, no. There will be between 40 and 74 people, however we'll only sit you down with 14-15 of them. There'll be lots of time during the break and after the event for you to chat to whoever you like though. Everyone’s there to meet new people, so don’t be shy about saying hello to a stranger!
What if I'm bisexual/pansexual or I don't conform to the gender binary?
Unfortunately we can't cater to everyone in the same space on the same night, so we've decided to alternate each event between a gay/sapphic split and a pan/bi everyone-dates-everyone event. If you're comfortable being grouped with the gay men or queer women, you are absolutely welcome to come along to this one even if you don't identify as either, and just choose the group you feel best aligns with your current vibe. And if not, we encourage you to wait for the next everyone-dates-everyone event.
Do I get free drinks just for showing up?
No, sorry! We prioritise as-affordable-as-possible ticket pricing over free drinks, having not raised our ticket prices since people still used facebook for reasons other than talking to their auntie. That said, we always run a competition on the night where you can win a bar tab.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, that's fine! However, if you can let us know of any changes prior to the event it's always appreciated, particularly if the person will be switching groups.
What's your refund policy?
Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event. This is an automated process that can be carried out via Humanitix and no reason is needed. Otherwise:
Stuck at Work/Something Came Up - If you can no longer attend the event for reasons other than illness, you will need to let us know a minimum of 4 hours prior to the event start time in order to receive a transfer to the next event. We are able to transfer your tickets once only, to the next event only, and there will be no transfers or refunds after the first transfer.
Covid-19/Flu - If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms or test positive for Covid-19, you can let us know at any point up until the event start time and we will transfer your ticket(s) to the next event or, if you're unable to make that date, issue you a credit voucher for future use.
We won't be able to offer you a transfer/credit voucher for any reason if you are a no-show/don't contact us until after the event has started. The nature of the event means we're heavily reliant on numbers, so please be conscious of this and give us as much notice as possible.
