GB CATS
Event description
Welcome to registered Arts Therapists from creative and expressive arts therapies practitioners and students.
This event is to bring everyone together to celebrate work achieved this year, events, individual, group and project work you have made successful and shared the word about Creative Arts Therapy. Coming together helps us develop networks for referrals, collaborations and heart-felt connections within the community. Often we work in isolation from other expressive therapists and we'd like to continue bringing all together for mutual support and development as a force for good.
This event is free. If you wish to make a donation, please do. We will use this to create further events in the future.
There will be food, music, opportunity to make art and connect. There will be an opportunity to share your vision of how we can work together to educate others about arts therapy and develop more presence in society. We know it works, we know our clients' development and growth, and we want to share that and gain more credibility for the transformation arts therapy provides. Maybe you have ideas of how to bring the different expressive arts therapists together or want to provide CPD within the community. Come and share your voice. We need you.
The event is run by GB Cats (Greater Brisbane Creative Arts Therapists) and is funded by an ANZACATA grant.
