An all-ages, alcohol-free dance experience — come ready to move, connect, and get immersed in the bass 🎶💃🏽

General Info:

~No phones or shoes in the event space. There will be a photographer on site to capture the essence of the event. This allows us to actually be present to the experience. Special wristbands are available to be worn if you don't want your picture to potentially be taken

-Re-entry is permitted with wristband

-Alcohol free bar. Kava, cacao and teas will be available for purchase

-Water is available on site. Water bottles are encouraged to bring

-Consent on the dancefloor

-No outside food or drinks

-Street parking is free and available near the venue

-Earplugs are available for the event

David Starfire:

🔥A legend in global bass and world fusion, David’s sets bring massive energy, deep basslines, and ancient rhythms from around the globe. His music has rocked festivals like Envision and Burning Man — and now he’s bringing that magic to Columbus!

🔥Named by BBC Radio as “One of the most brilliant world-fusion producers of our time”, David Starfire is known as the pioneer of the Global Bass genre and composer of music for meditation and psychedelic assisted therapy.

🔥David has performed at prominent festivals such as Winter Music Conference, Coachella, Outside Lands, Envision, Burning Man, Eclipse, and Lightning in a Bottle. He’s been direct support for the likes of Skrillex, CloZee, Tipper and collaborated with top artists such as Afrika Bambaataa, Sizzla, Alex Grey, Ram Dass, Alan Watts, Ooah (The Glitch Mob), Sidecar Tommy (Beats Antique) and many others. He's traded remixes with CloZee, Desert Dwellers, iLL Gates, Beats Antique, and SOOHAN.

Sunny Strasburg, Gita Vaid, and others.

DJ AYALA:

Ayala aspires to create transformational experiences through music and facilitation. She attended her very first ecstatic dance in Columbus many years ago. While living in California, she rediscovered ecstatic dance and the depth of its creation of connection and community. Upon moving back to Columbus she began facilitating ecstatic dances, and soon learned how to DJ from Kofdrop. Some influences include Samadhi of Ecstatic Dance Evolution Network, the ecstatic dance LA community, and Soohan (who she has opened up for). Ayala intertwines a variety of genres throughout her sets to create a dynamic flow that compliments ecstatic dance journeys. Some of her current favorites are mega funk and bass.

reV:

DJ reV (rev-ee) is one of the resident DJs for Ecstatic Dance Columbus! He made his debut at Ecstatic Dance Columbus and Trauma in 2023. DJ reV experiments with a variety of vibes, from tribal to funk to techno. Whatever he comes up with next is sure to move you!
