Join us on Pallarenda Beach in Townsville to celebrate the launch of the Great Barrier Reef Clean-up 2025!
Where: Walter Nisbet Park, Pallarenda Beach, Townsville
When: 9-11 am | Wednesday 1st October
What to bring: Enclosed shoes, sun/rain protection, and your reusable water bottle. All equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided.
Last year, Queensland communities cleaned-up more than 97,000 marine debris items during October’s Great Barrier Reef Clean-up. Come down to to kick off a month of action for the ocean and join the community for a clean-up on Pallarenda Beach.
No clean-up experience necessary, just come down and join in the fun!
The Great Barrier Reef Clean-up is a flagship initiative of Tangaroa Blue Foundation’s ReefClean program, delivered in collaboration with Clean Up Australia and funded by the Australian Government.
