Geelong 'Faster and Fairer' Tour with Dr Saul Griffith
Event description
Australians are keen to electrify their homes and vehicles and save on energy bills, but how can we ensure this happens fairer and faster?
Join Saul Griffith, engineer and Chief Scientist at Rewiring Australia, as he discusses his latest book Plug In! The Electrification Handbook, which provides practical advice for everyday Australians on upgrading their homes and cars.
Come along to find out how you can reduce your energy bills and lower emissions and hear about some of the local community action happening in your area.
This event is brought to you by Geelong Sustainability, a for-purpose community organisation working since 2007 to build a powerful community movement for a just transition to a net zero future. Come along to find out how you can reduce your energy bills, lower emissions, and connect with the local community action already underway in Geelong and surrounds.
The evening will be hosted by Kitty Walker, founder of Queenscliffe Climate Action Now and Communications Director at RE-Alliance, who brings a wealth of local experience in community-led climate action.
