Geelong's own Share The Dignity 'Digni-Tea' 2025
Event description
Join us for Geelong's own 'Share The Dignity' Digni-Tea event!
Let's come together for a worthy cause at 1915 at The Federal Mills. Get ready to enjoy a delightful afternoon filled with tea, treats, and meaningful conversations.
We are raising funds for our THIRD annual packing party ‘It’s In The Bag’ campaign which takes place in November where we pack bags for Women. Teens, Mum’s and Bub’s in need, that are then distributed to charities in the Greater Geelong and surrounding areas.
With no major businesses or donations to back us, we rely on donations from local businesses collecting the essential items on our behalf and the generosity of our family and friends to donate and help us pack the bags. As Mums of daughters of different ages, we are passionate about supporting women and teens in our local region and seeing that they have the basic needs that we take for granted.
Featuring the Share the Dignity's founder and managing director Rochelle Courtnaey as our Keynote Speaker (the day before she speaks at the Melbourne event!) as well as some of the best women’s healthcare professionals in the Geelong region.
Dr Yvonne McCartney and Dr Elise Davey founders of Menopause Health Geelong and Kensington Hill Medical Centre in Leopold where they are both GP's and practice principals of the clinic. Both Mum's and understanding the needs of women at all stages of life, Dr McCartney and Dr Davey really have seen it all!
Aly Kiely a Women’s Health Physiotherapist at Physio Pod Co. and Head Pilates Instructor at Physio Pod Flow. A new Mum herself, she certainly knows what it is like to be juggling all the things as well as trying to help your pelvic floor (along with other things!) get back into working order!
Dr Suzi Craig, a Dr of Chinese Medicine and an integrative women's health practitioner who specialises in Women’s Health and Wellbeing. With a different approach to treating hormonal changes, trying to conceive, menopause, contraception, and conditions like PCOS and endometriosis, she will add a different perspective to our afternoon which will be most welcomed!
Tying it altogether is Jess Pantou from K Rock as our MC for our Digni~Tea!
Currently one half of the Tim & Jess show for the drive home on Geelong’s radio station 95.5 K Rock, Jess was the kid at school that was too loud and talked too much, so she turned it into a career! Jess will bring her energy and laughs to the event as well as helping us with all things talking and raffles! It is going to be fun!
Followed by a delicious afternoon tea, a glass of bubbles +/- a hot and/or cold beverage, some laid back tunes by Gabby Steel and a chance to catch up, all the while the opportunity to win some awesome raffle prizes.
