Gem fossicking at Mt Hay & Lunch at Kabra Pub

Join us for a wonderful day with your Sheddies mates on this field trip to the Mt Hay Gem Fossicking Park, where we will find our very own rainforest jasper and thundereggs containing quartz, agate, amethyst, opalite, and more!
Mt Hay Gem Fossicking Park is a short 30 minute drive from Rocky. There's a wonderful giftshop and large gemstones for sale, and the kiosk sells cold drinks and icecreams.
Around midday, we will then adjourn to the Kabra Pub for a refreshing bevvie and lunch (pay your own).
We have access to a 10% discount for our group booking at the Gem Park.
The Park opens at 9am, please join us for the instructional speech by the owners and for group payment.
Bring: enclosed shoes (an absolute must - mandatory for admission into the park) waterbottle, stool or milkcrate top sit on, hat and other sunsmart measures, your sense of adventure!
There will be a thread in the RWS Sheddies Facebook Group for those who wish to carpool.
