Affirmation Station visits the City of Monash!

Transgender Victoria is facilitating an Affirmation for All event in the City of Monash. This workshop is part of a series of gender affirming events happening on this day.

This workshop is for transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary people age 18+ who live, work, study, or play in the City of Monash and surrounding areas.

Workshop 1: Gender Affirming Personal Styling

Discover affirming, creative, and affordable ways to explore your gender expression through personal styling in an affirming and supportive environment. This interactive workshop offers practical tips on clothing, accessories, makeup, and styling techniques to help you feel confident, authentic and most importantly gender affirmed!

Topics include:

Makeup basics
Using jewellery, ribbons, ties, and accessories to personalise your look
Styling with low-cost clothing; exploring silhouettes and colours

Mask-wearing is strongly encouraged, and we'll have spares if you need one.

The venue is accessible for people with disability and people with mobility issues.

Accessible parking is available close to the building entrance. There is a firm path leading from the parking area to the entrance. Everything is on one level, so there are no stairs or lifts to use.

An accessible toilet is available inside the building.
