This interactive workshop will develop your knowledge and skills in supporting transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary people with disability.
The workshop aims to develop knowledge about gender and ways to support transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary individuals. The knowledge from this workshop could also help provide support to people who may be questioning or exploring their gender.
Topics we cover:
• Sexuality, Sex and Gender
• Pronouns
• Disability, Neurodivergence and Gender
• Gender Affirmation
• Social, Medical, and Legal Affirmation
• Gender euphoria
This workshop is for parents, carers, students, teachers and health professionals. There is a limit of 3 participants from the same organisation.
This is a full day workshop with coffee/tea and biscuits provided. Please bring your own water bottle and lunch. We have a fridge and microwave that you’re welcome to use.
Please note: if you are a HCC holder 50% of the ticket price ($60) will be refunded on proof of HCC. You can upload a photo of your HCC at the time of ordering for a faster refund.
Our workshops are in person only. Due to a limited capacity within our education team, we are not able to offer online workshops at this time.
