Gender Impact Assessments are a key component of the Gender Equality Act requirements. They are also a useful process for any workplace or organisation looking to apply a gendered lens to their policy, program or service.

Join Women's Health and Wellbeing Barwon South West as we walk you through a practical and user friendly guide to undertaking Gender Impact Assessments (GIA’s).

This interactive session will focus on step 3 and 4 of the GIA process. Participants will gain an understanding in options analysis, assessing overall impact of a policy program or service and making recommendations based on comprehensive analysis.

Participants will be provided with the knowledge and tools to apply a gender lens across their work.

You’ll learn when and how to carry out a GIA, explore real-life scenarios, and engage in peer-to-peer learning through small group activities and discussions.
