gender soup is back yall!! whether you identify as 2 peeled carrots or a tsp of minced garlic, come join the gender soup - an event for trans people by trans people 🏳️⚧️🍜🍲
gender soup is first and foremost a community mixer, an opportunity for gender diverse people to meet/ network/slide up on x this month at gender soup we are also inviting trans artists, designers and creators to sell prints, trinkets, clothing etc. at our evening trans marketplace! 6pm-8:30pm 🔥🥵☀️
later on, join your hostess + bartender @babydoll.the.flop for a piping hot serving of naarm trans drag finery!! this edition of gender-soup, we're doing "body-snatchers" a term referring to embodying or performing someone else's drag - each drag artist will be painted and dressed to look like someone else from the cast, switching up their style for the night. 🤡💃🏳️⚧️
we, at the bean, pride ourselves on being a safe space for trans + gender diverse folk to express themselves, so come and be one with the soup! 😁😎🫶
tickets available at the link in bio - this month we'll be fundraising for a an all trans share-house here in fitzroy - many trans and queer people aren't offered to same opportunities to work and find income, making some of us unable to pay rent, bills or even buy groceries. as a means of making up for this, we’ll be sending 50% of ticket sales this house in need of support. all receipts to be posted after the event ❤️🔥
