Join Generation Youth at Uni Hub Playford for an info session on job opportunities as a youth mentor.

Who is this opportunity for?

This session is for university students seeking flexible work and interested in:

  • Working with young people, particularly those with disabilities or mental health challenges.

  • Youth development and inclusion.

  • Gaining transferable skills like community services and mentoring.

What is Generation Youth?

Generation Youth is a community-based mentoring organisation in Adelaide that supports young people aged 9 to 25. It empowers them through five key pillars: social skills, communication, independence, confidence, and health and well-being.

Please note, there are some minimum requirements and clearances that you need to hold to become a Generation Youth Mentor, including:

You MUST have the following:

  • Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle

You need to already have or be willing to OBTAIN the following:

  • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification

  • RRHAN-EC Masterclass Certification (SA-specific child safety training)
