Second Tuesdays Generative Writing Night at Bad Therapy!

Each Month we will hold a Generative Writing Night on the second Tuesday of the month- in person and over zoom.  (in person at Bad Therapy on Cortelyou Road.)

a Cold Reading Night with flash casting the third Thursday of the month- in person at a fabulous location - Brooklyn Artery) and, in June 2025, a NIGHT OF NEW WORKS, developed in the New Work series, produced and performed by and for the community.

You are registering here for 2nd TUESDAY NIGHT GENERATIVE WRITING NIGHT.--  We will say hello to one another and then buckle in, figuratively, to a timed 40 minutes of writing, with a last ten minutes devoted to saying how it went.  (so bring your writing pad and pencil or your laptop.)

We may start with a prompt, but we're mainly looking to lock in to the power of common intention and, most likely, marveling at how far we get with a scene/ scenes when we're helped to focus by all doing the same thing.  Don't be surprised if you leave encouraged to punch up what you've got and then submit it for cold reading night the following week!
