GENOA Healing Circle - From Pain to Peace

This event has passed Register

Event description

Do you hear the cry of the Earth? And how do you react to it?

Come join us in a healing circle where together we will bless all those who suffered, we will face our pain for the Earth and turn it into the fuel of service and compassion.

The circle is led by Arjun (Jorge Calero) - a Sufi practitioner and Dance of Universal Peace teacher from Colombia. He will share with us a Native American sacred opening ceremony, take us through a heart-to-heart opening session and introduce us to Sufi healing techniques.

Please bring with you a candle, a glass of water, an incense and a crystal or stone.

About the facilitator

Jorge Calero, Arjun or "el mono" as his friends call him, lives in Atlantida Ecovillage, in the Andes of Colombia, a place he  co-founded in 2003 with friends and family in order to fully embody the search for an alternative and restorative way of life on the planet.  Born in 1978, raised in close contact with nature and spiritual seeking, he has Biology studies, specialised in ethnoecology and did M.Sc. in eco-social design. He has worked for years with local native communities, youth groups, movements and networks building a better future. Senior mentor in the Dances of Universal Peace (DUP) International Network and Sufi Guide in the S.R.I., Arjun coordinates the beyond initiative bringing the DUP to non-western contexts and is very much involved in the native ceremonies and ancient wisdom of the Americas, serving as a medicine man and ceremonies conductor since 2003.

Contribution

This is a part of GENOA Monthly Healing Circle, which is held every full moon for collective practice to nurture inner transformation, global wellbeing and peace.

The circle is offered as a gift for anyone who feels called to attend. There is an option to donate to support the facilitators and GENOA team if you wish to. We deeply appreciate your kind intention and openness.
