Have you ever wondered about trying to learn the basics of yoga but thought that it might be physically too difficult? If so, try our "Gentle Yoga" workshop, to be led by Noonee Doronila of the Philippine-Australian Association of the ACT and the Monaro Region Inc. (PAA). No prior yoga experience required!

Noonee is a yoga practitioner and teacher with over 30 years of experience. She will teach you a simple method to maintain your flexibility, stability and balance - including gentle yoga movements, mindfulness, relaxation and meditation. You can join her on the floor, or just sit on a chair, doing gentle movements.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring an exercise mat (or a blanket if you prefer using a chair). Refreshments will be provided to registered attendees.

This workshop is free and open to all, including non-seniors, thanks to the PAA's generous funding from the ACT Seniors’ Grant Scheme. It is the first of a series of five free seminar-workshops that will be offered by the PAA this year, with the goal of promoting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of seniors here in Canberra.  These activities are meant to enhance the successful, healthy, and graceful ageing of seniors, especially our valued members.
