Geoff Kaufman leads us to find truth, humor, and beauty in folk music -- from sea ballads to social justice and environmental songs. Geoff has touched audiences near and far. He sang with Pete Seeger as a member of the Sloop Singers for Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, and has sung from coffeehouses to festivals in Europe. Songs of the sea, songs of the earth, songs of the heart and the spirit—all of these are in Geoff Kaufman’s ditty bag. With his exuberant love of singing, Geoff likes to stress the “live” in performance, inviting his audience to participate.

Geoff newly-released an album, "On a Day Like Today." According to Rick Koster in The Day, "Kaufman’s strong and lovely tenor is expressive and nuanced, perfectly enhancing the meanings of the songs. He chose selections from a list of iconic composers, including Phil Ochs, John Prine, Pete Seeger, Kate Wolf, Leonard Cohen, and some less known...
