Temperance Hall is located at 199 Napier Street, South Melbourne. We are a 10-minute tram trip from Melbourne’s CBD – a 3-minute walk from: Tram 1 – Stop 24 (corner of Clarendon St and Park St) Tram 12 – Stop 129 (corner of Park St and Clarendon St). There are limited un-metered parking spaces directly outside Temperance Hall along Napier Street. There are free 2-hour (Mon – Fri,10.00 am – 6.00 pm) parking bays available on Napier Street and Church Street, and limited all-day parking is available on the Temperance Hall side of Church Street. Alternatively, all-day paid parking is available on Cecil Street. Bicycle parking hoops are located on the corner of Napier and Church Street adjacent to the Hall.

Entry instructions

Enter via the aqua blue door located on Napier Street, South Melbourne.

Toilet location

After you enter the front entrance aqua blue door, continue straight to find and accessible toilet located on your right. Non-accessible toilets are located at the back of the building. After you enter the front entrance aqua blue door, continue straight. Once you have passed the bottom of the stairs turn left. Continue straight to the end of the hallway to find a door located on your right that leads to the outside footpath. Go outside, following the footpath to the back of the building. Once you reach the end of the outside footpath/building turn right to find a block of toilets.

Accessible parking

There is accessible parking available on Napier Street, located out the front of Temperance Hall.

Wheelchair access info

Temperance Hall's Main Hall is located on the ground floor of the building and is wheelchair accessible via the Napier Street Main Entrance. Bathrooms are for all genders and wheelchair accessible. Temperance Hall's Upstairs Studio is only accessible via a stairwell.
