Whether you’re an experienced leader or practitioner or new to local government, place naming and gender equality, come along to this session and learn how to progress place naming and public art equality in your workplace.

This session is the essential starting point on your Put Her Name on It journey, and focuses on geographic place naming and public art and why they matter. We will unpack the stories that are told in commemorative place naming and those that are not. With women significantly underrepresented in commemorative naming and art, this session makes the case for practical action that you can take.

·       our results-driven 7-step process towards gender equality

·       case studies showing how Victorian LGAs are progressing.

This session is designed to help you understand where to begin, how to build momentum, and how to avoid common pitfalls. Along the way, we’ll share practical tips, shortcuts, and quick wins that can be applied immediately.
