Geological tour of Hallett Cove Conservation Park
Event description
Join renowned geologist Bob Major to learn about the 295 million years of geology of Hallett Cove Conservation Park. Bob will provide you with fascinating insights into the park's glacial pavements and sediments that are known throughout the world. Evidence of ancient glaciation has made Hallett Cove a significant geological site in the country.
This event is for all ages.
Accessibility
The guided walk does include trails with some moderate/steep inclines and stairs. Trail surfaces are also uneven in places.
Who is this event for?
This event is recommended for ages 10+. Children must be supervised.
