GeoNight 2025 - Order of Events
4.30pm Introduction & Welcome Dr Tod Jones (Curtin Uni) and Leo Conti (GAWA)
4.40pm – 5.10pm "Coastal Planning for a Changing Climate in Perth" presented by Gary Middle, Curtin University and Vision Environment (Linked to Yr 7, 8 and 10 Geography, Yr 11 ATAR Geography Unit 1, Depth Study 1; Year 11 General Geography Unit 1; and Year 12 ATAR Geography Unit 3, Depth Study 2 (Global Climate Change).
5.15pm – 5.45pm "Conservation Management of Dolphins in Urbanised Waterways" presented by Krista Nicholson and Delphine Chabanne from Murdoch University (Linked to Year 10 Geography; Year 11 General Geography, Unit 1; and Year 12 ATAR Geography Unit 1 (Loss of Biodiversity).
5.45pm – 6.10pm Break for refreshments – coffee, tea, juice and subway platters
6.15pm – 7pm Oyster Merroir Tasting and Presentation hosted by Jerry Fraser, Oyster Shucker
7pm Conclusion and thanks Dr Tod Jones (Curtin Uni) and Leo Conti (GAWA)
