Georgia Oatley and Jachin Mee x Goodwood Books
Event description
Join us at the beautiful Goodwood Books for a night of music and physical media and performances by caps lock compilation artists Georgia Oatley and Jachin Mee.
We will also have available limited copies of our first caps lock publication, (please don't) hang the dj by Emily Wilson, a series of 3 profiles of artists from Tarntanya (Venus of Swapmeet, V of Keeskea/Workshorse and Thea of short snarl) as well as the titular essay, all in hand-bound book form.
Georgia Oatley crafts tender electronic music, weaving ambient textures, trip-hop grooves, and soulful vocals. Inspired by the organic beauty of the land, her sound is immersive, sensual, and deeply emotional—a rich sensory experience that invites listeners to connect and let go.
Jay Eliot Mee is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist living on Kaurna land. His work explores the possibilities of pop music’s architecture, while retaining a love for storytelling and sincerity. In late 2024, he released his debut album Talking To Music About People, with follow up EP Inside Jachin Mee slated for 2025.
