Two day German Wheel Workshop and full Level 1 Coaching Certificate

Want to upgrade your German wheel skills with eight-time world champion, Wolfgang Bientzle?

The Assistant Coach Level 1 course is open to parents with no experience in wheel and German wheel athletes including children aged 14 and over.  

If you already know you love wheel, this two day course will really fast-track your skills and give you a solid grounding in all three disciplines (straightline, spiral and vault). 

Learn, spot and (optionally also) practise:

• straightline moves in bindings including free flies (no hands)
  
• decentralised moves without bindings (the exciting flippy stuff)
• dismounts
• big and small spiral (coin spins)
• vaulting (set the wheel rolling, run after it, ride over the top and jump off the other side).

People who successfully complete this course and the assessment can obtain the Assistant Coach Level 1 Certificate accredited by USA Wheel Gymnastics by paying an additional $USD50 (no other assessment is required).  

And this certification never lapses!

This course has not been run in Australia since 2019 and is otherwise only available in English in the US, so please make the most of this rare opportunity to learn from the master.

Please note that coaches and trainee coaches aged 16+ will need to provide a Working With Children Check Number, available from your local state government.
