Get Free: The Series

Get Free: The Series is a collection of events at the intersections of house music and dance, queer and trans communities of color, and the movement to end mass incarceration. Each event features a film screening about community safety and care, a facilitated discussion among a panel of local activists and artists, and a classic house dance party to cap off the evening.

Our 2025 launch event will take place on Friday, September 26th at the Longmont Museum, where we will screen the recent documentary film, One Million Experiments. We will also hear from a remarkable group of folks advancing freedom through their art and organizing, including Vinnie Cervantes, Tiana Collins, and Franklin Cruz. Finally, the DJs from House Social will set the party off right. Join us for an evening of radical community and liberatory joy!
