Introduction to Tiling

Learn about ceramic, porcelain and mosaic tiles and where they are best suited.
Get familiar with essential tiling tools, including trowels, tile cutters, levels, spacers and adhesives.
Surface Preparation

Our workshops are designed to give beginners the opportunity to learn practical skills, use tools safely and build the confidence to take on projects around their own homes.
The DIY Tiling Workshop is a hands-on, one-day workshop designed to introduce you to the essential skills and techniques required for basic tiling projects. You’ll work with common tiling tools and materials while learning about surface preparation, tile layout, adhesive application, tile cutting, grouting and finishing.

We hope to have the workshop all wrapped up by 3pm
- What do I need to bring?
All Tools and Materials will be provided for all workshops unless of course you would like to bring yours.

Training is run from in Building 4, Everthought College of Construction Brisbane
- Do you feed us?
We Offer Coffee/Tea and snacks but please bring your own lunch
- What do I wear?
Wear light and comfortable clothing. Although steel caps shoes not A PRIORITY. Wear good protective shoes. BE SMART
- Who is this workshop for?
This DIY workshop is for beginners wanting to get familiar with hand and power tools and get some hands on experience. This workshop teaches you some important life skills and We ENCOURAGE all genders to Join us. We do not discriminate Gender, Race or Sexuality.
