Learn from some of Australia's and overseas foremost industry experts to improve your practice and master your craft.

It can be hard for photographers to make a career out of their passion. How do I get gallery representation? What is attractive to clients? How do I stand out from the crowd?

Head On brings a panel of industry experts to help answer some of these questions featuring international photography consultant Christina Force, Creative Director of Alfabetismo Visual and AlfaAgency Photo Roberta Tavares, commercial gallerist Dominik Mersch and Head On Photo Festival founder and Director Moshe Rosenvzeig OAM.

This panel will break down the business of photography, offering unique insights on strategies to advance your personal style and your career as a photographer.

Head On Photo Festival, presented by Head On Foundation (not-for-profit est. 2008), has become synonymous with exceptional photography. Beginning in 2010, the Sydney-based Festival has developed into a world-leading cultural event known for showcasing thousands of diverse photographers on the world stage.

Led by Creative Director Moshe Rosenzveig OAM each year, judges select all exhibiting photographers through Head On's unique judging process, in which they judge works anonymously, ensuring a diverse range of stories and equal opportunity.

This year, exhibitions and conversations explore important global and social issues - global conflicts, pop culture, the environment and urbanisation. Moshe Rosenzveig OAM, Founder and Creative Director of Head On Foundation, shares, "The event is family-friendly and enjoyed by Sydneysiders, interstate and international visitors of all ages. The exhibitions' appeal merges the boundaries between everyday people, photographic enthusiasts, and artists. It's the perfect way to enjoy art either indoors or outdoors in a relaxed and accessible environment.”
