Get planting at FoodLab Sydney's Community Garden

Learn how to plant seeds and seedlings at this exciting workshop for children aged between 3 and 12.

Participants will learn:

• How to handle seeds and seedlings
• At what depth different seeds should be planted
• How to space different types of vegetable seeds and seedlings
• How to transplant seedlings to their permanent growing space in the garden
• Why it’s important to preserve seeds and how to keep them viable 

All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer. Parents/carers are welcome to assist their child/ren in activities.

What to bring: Enclosed shoes, sunscreen, hat, water, snack.
